This is a „Hexenfeuer“.
While Hexenfeuer is primarily a German tradition, similar bonfire celebrations are held in other parts of Europe, including Sweden, Finland, and the Czech Republic. It's a testament to the enduring power of community and folklore!
Hexenfeuer literally translates to 'witches' fire,' and the tradition was believed to have originated as a way to scare off witches and other supernatural beings the night before May Day.
Taking creative breaks is essential for maintaining productivity and preventing burnout. Stepping away from a project or task allows your mind to rest and recharge, leading to a renewed sense of energy and inspiration when you return. It also gives you the opportunity to explore new ideas and perspectives, leading to more innovative and creative solutions. Cherishing the moment during these breaks can also be beneficial for mental health, as it allows you to appreciate the present and reduce stress and anxiety. By taking the time to step back and appreciate the moment, you can improve your overall well-being and enhance your creative output.

When you step out into nature, you instantly connect with the environment around you. The stunning landscapes, fresh air, and natural beauty create an ambiance that enhances your bouldering experience. No artificial holds or walls can compare to the raw charm of climbing on real rocks.
Bouldering outside presents a whole new set of physical and mental challenges. The dynamic nature of outdoor climbing requires adaptability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to read the rock. Natural features like cracks, pockets, and slopers demand a higher level of technique and precision, making outdoor bouldering a more holistic and demanding experience.
Had a really fun session a few days ago. Currently starting my rehab protocol again for my middle finger inflammation.
Finger joint health is vital in climbing because our fingers endure immense pressure and strain as we grip and pull our way up the rock. We depend on our fingers to be strong enough to carry our weight and flexible enough to allow us to move quickly and efficiently. Neglecting the health of our finger joints can lead to pain, injuries, and decreased performance.
I'm so grateful for this sport and the community that comes with it. I've met some incredible people who have become great friends, and we always support and encourage each other. So if you're looking for a new adventure, I highly recommend giving indoor bouldering a try!
